Connecting with Fellow Neurodivergent Parents
A Chat About Traveling with Our Neurodivergent Kids
One of the best things about sharing content online is meeting other neurodivergent parents who get it. Not all neurodivergent kids and families are the same, but we share a common understanding as parents of kids who need extra support, and the stress that comes with it. Planning a trip on top of that can be overwhelming, but it’s been so nice to connect with parents who understand.
I connected with Susan (Moms Make It Magical) on Instagram about a year ago. She’s a neurodivergent mom, blogger, and content creator who shares her experiences traveling with her highly sensitive neurodivergent kids. She visits Walt Disney World often and recently took an international trip to the Philippines!
In our interview, Traveling with Neurodivergent Kids: Real Mom Talk, we chat about how she prepares her kids for trips, what works best for her family, and what she’s learned along the way.
